Petro-Canada™ Lubricants' distribution network extends to over 80 countries worldwide
Apr 02, 2019
Petro-Canada Lubricants has today announced the relaunch of its LUBE 360™ Oil Diagnostics platform, powered by WearCheck, the globally renowned oil analysis laboratory. Developed with industry-leading capabilities, the platform delivers advanced benefits to customers, including the ability to data-mine the entire database of a customer’s samples, and use sample information to forecast expected oil and machine performance.
In addition, the LUBE 360 Advanced Oil Diagnostic platform is superior in its ability to make automatic recommendations regarding maintenance activities based on sample analysis results. The program has been designed to offer customers high levels of support, by detecting abnormalities in the condition of equipment in time to schedule corrective action and minimize unscheduled, costly downtime.
Fueled by WearCheck’s cloud-based oil analysis system and advanced algorithms, the platform offers customers easy, mobile-friendly, online access to a customizable dashboard which includes the status of their oil samples, and delivers active sample notifications by email so customers can quickly react to the results and make necessary adjustments to their maintenance schedules.
"The ability to offer our customers this next generation of oil diagnostics is a real achievement. It demonstrates that we are leading the industry in this space, and is a testament to our ongoing commitment to support our customers as they seek to extend the life of their equipment,” said Tony Weatherill, president, Petro-Canada Lubricants Inc. “The platform has been specifically designed to help our customers take proactive measures to improve the reliability of their lubricant, to maintain overall performance levels and minimize maintenance costs."
Industry expert and president of DWS Fleet Management Darry Stuart, added: "Oil analysis is an essential maintenance task for any fleet. Over the past 40 years, however, turnaround time in the lab has been too slow and there has been an inability to spot basic issues. We also struggle with the lag time between sending samples out and not receiving results until several weeks later."
";The LUBE 360 Oil Diagnostics ease of use raises the bar. It provides you with all the data you need, in any form you want it, allowing you to review the data and react to it punctually, not only saving time but ensuring the maintenance of your fleet. Its depth of data and simplicity of use will fit the needs of managers today and in the future."
The new and improved dashboard has advanced, customizable functionality, which offers complete control and access to the status of oil samples. The platform allows customers to manage and analyze their sample data and overall assets in a number of ways, including the ability to:
The newly relaunched LUBE 360 Oil Diagnostics platform is now available to customers in the USA, with a global launch planned for later in 2019.
