Prior to working with Petro-Canada Lubricants, Gold-Eagle Cooperative used a grease product that was unable to keep up with the high-level requirements of its feed mills and production targets. The grease was unable to pump through the equipment in cold temperatures, causing the grease lines to be clogged up. As a result, the equipment would struggle to start up in cold temperatures, causing heavy wear within the bearings and potential for production delays. Gold-Eagle Cooperative reviewed the equipment across its sites and selected Petro-Canada Lubricants as a partner to match its needs. Technical experts at Petro-Canada Lubricants were able to provide excellent customer support and recommended implementing PURITY™ FG2 Extreme, which provided greater protection of bearings and equipment when operating under heavy loads. Additionally, SYNDURO™ SHB 150 synthetic multi-application fluids and PRECISION™ XL EP2 premium performance greases were introduced to further increase the performance of the equipment.
