Petro-Canada Lubricants, a HollyFrontier business, is pleased to announce that it has signed a supply agreement to become the only worldwide first-fill supplier of TES 668™ automatic transmission fluid for Allison Transmission, the premier global manufacturer of medium- and heavy-duty commercial automatic transmissions.
Using its leading-edge lubricant technology, Petro-Canada Lubricants meets the requirements of the Allison Transmission TES 668™ specification with the formulation of DuraDrive™ HD Synthetic 668. DuraDrive HD Synthetic 668 is specified for on-highway vehicles, including vocational applications, and is fully backwards compatible for every Allison transmission that requires an approved TES 295® fluid.
The DuraDrive HD Synthetic 668 factory fill contract will provide Allison Transmission’s manufacturing sites and customers worldwide with access to the durability, performance enhancement and equipment protection that Petro-Canada Lubricants’ automatic transmission fluid delivers.

[1] Suitable for Use (SFU) = Supporting data is available to demonstrate acceptable performance (not OEM approved).
[2] Always consult the vehicle owner’s manual for specific transmission fluid recommendations.
[3] NOT recommended for CVT** and DCT transmissions or when a non-friction modified fluid is recommended (e.g. Ford Type F). Also not recommended for applications requiring Ford MERCON® SP.
** Some e-CVT designs require the use of Automatic Transmission Fluids; therefore, DuraDrive Low Viscosity MV Synthetic ATF is suitable for use where “SFU” is claimed for the appropriate ATF Specification/Vehicle.
[4] DuraDrive Low Viscosity MV Synthetic ATF is a low viscosity formulation and does not meet the viscosity profiles of these high viscosity specifications.
