• Flesch operates a state-of-the-art facility over an area of 11,000 m²/118,000 sq. ft. in Tuttlingen, Germany. The company’s customers use its work platforms in such application areas as commercial aircraft maintenance – e.g. for Boeing and Airbus – as well as a host of indoor and outdoor building sites where height, positioning and user-friendly operation are crucial factors.
• Flesch had to keep an extensive stock of various hydraulic fluids at differing viscosities in storage. In some cases, it found that temperature limits of the hydraulic pumps were being reached and even exceeded during intensive periods of use, and work sometimes had to be interrupted.
• Flesch switched to HYDREX Extreme, which offers a very high viscosity index. This allows Flesch to use one hydraulic fluid at all temperatures and fill all of its hydraulic systems with the same hydraulic oil. HYDREX Extreme offers superb lubricant properties and extends maintenance intervals. This leads to reduced downtime and maintenance costs.
